These terms govern your use of BuyThisAgain. By using the app, you agree to them.

What BuyThisAgain does

BuyThisAgain is a local, on-device memory tool for the exact products you choose to save — it is not a home inventory system, a receipt or expense tracker, a warranty manager, or a price-comparison or shopping service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of what you save, including any price, retailer, or product detail you enter yourself or that on-device recognition fills in. Because your data lives only on your device with no server-side copy, a lost, reset, wiped, or damaged device — or an uninstall — means that data is gone. There is no account recovery, because there is no account.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use BuyThisAgain, and you must be using it on a device you own or are authorized to configure.

Buy Again is a search, not a purchase

"Buy Again" opens a web search built from your saved item's details. BuyThisAgain does not sell anything, process any purchase, or guarantee that a search result matches your item exactly, is in stock, or is offered at any particular price — including a price you previously saved for that item, which reflects only what you recorded, not a live quote.

No liability for data loss

Because your data lives only on your device by design, BuyThisAgain and its developer are not liable for data loss resulting from device loss, theft, damage, reset, an uninstall, or a failed or unsupported device restore. This is the direct consequence of storing nothing on a server, described plainly here and in the Privacy Policy.

Purchases

The first 3 items you save are free, with every feature included. Saving additional items requires BuyThisAgain Premium, available as an auto-renewing annual subscription ($39.99/year) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($99.99), both processed through the App Store. Pricing and terms are presented at the time of purchase and are additionally governed by Apple's own terms.

The annual subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or canceled anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. The lifetime purchase is a one-time, permanent unlock — no renewal, ever. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.

Disclaimer of warranties

BuyThisAgain is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. This includes the accuracy of on-device barcode/text recognition and any AI-assisted identification, when active — recognition results are a starting point you review and confirm, not a guarantee.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyThisAgain and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including damages from buying the wrong product based on information saved or suggested in the app.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "Effective" date above will be updated. Continued use of BuyThisAgain after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
