Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026
Passport Run is a memory game. There is no account and no sign-in. This page explains what the game stores, the one third-party service that receives data (Google AdMob, for ads), and what never leaves your phone.
What's stored, and where
Your passport stamps, scores, settings, travel room, souvenirs and other progress are saved in the app's own storage on your device. The game also keeps a small local log of game events, such as starting or finishing a country, to show your own history and stats. None of this is sent to us or anyone else, and deleting the app deletes it.
Ads
Ads from Google AdMob appear in two places, never during play: a small banner at the bottom of the menu screens, and a full-screen ad on the results screen after every fourth failed attempt. Ads are requested as non-personalized: they are not based on your interests or other apps, and the game never shows Apple's "Allow tracking?" request. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's SDK receives information such as your device model, iOS version, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the ad. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
In the EU, UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form appears before any ad. You can change your choice later in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Kids Mode
Kids Mode never shows ads and has no sharing buttons. Purchases and sharing elsewhere in the game sit behind a question meant for adults.
Things you choose to share
When you tap a share or save button (a picture of your travel room, an album page, a journey movie, a challenge link or a passport backup), iOS opens its standard share sheet and you decide where it goes. The game only uses Photos to add a picture you asked to save; it cannot see your photo library.
Purchases
Remove Ads, Special Expeditions, Cinema Worlds and the Traveler Pack are bought through Apple. Apple handles payment and tells the game only which purchases you own; we never see your payment details. See Apple's privacy policy.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no sign-in, no names required. A nickname you type stays on your device.
- No personalized ads and no tracking across apps or websites.
- No analytics services. Google AdMob is the only third-party SDK that receives data.
- No precise location, contacts, camera or microphone access.
Changes
If a future version adds other online features, such as leaderboards, this policy will be updated before that version is released to say exactly what is sent and why.
